Joining takes two steps: register your family with Trail Life USA, then pay the troop's annual fee online. Here's exactly what to do — and what dues cover.
Two steps and you're on the trail.
Create your Trail Life Connect account
A parent or guardian goes first. Use our troop's link to create your adult account at Trail Life Connect, then add each of your boys to your family. This is where Trail Life USA keeps your family's registration, health forms, and advancement.
Register at Trail Life ConnectPay dues online
Pay the $175 annual fee per boy through our secure Stripe checkout. In the checkout, set the quantity to the number of boys you're registering. The $45 adult registration fee is in the same checkout — if you already paid it on Trail Life Connect, set that quantity to zero.

Order the official uniform shirt (about $50, first year only) and complete the health form on our Forms page so it's on file before the first campout. Then show up Thursday at 6:30 — we'll take it from there.

The $175 annual fee covers national Trail Life USA dues, local troop dues, and a troop T-shirt. First-year families also purchase the official uniform shirt (about $50) — see the uniform guide. Campouts and high-adventure trips may carry small additional per-trip costs.
