Woodlands Trail
Our youngest trailmen — the Fox, Hawk, and Mountain Lion — begin with discovery and imagination. Walked alongside their dads, they take their first steps outdoors: simple skills, games, and the joy of belonging to a troop.
- Thursdays 6:45–8:15pm at The North Church (arrive 6:30 to sign in)
- Fall & spring campouts, plus an activity most months
- Service projects and Courts of Honor through the year
Navigators
Boys step into real responsibility — leading patrols, mastering outdoor skills, and earning trail badges. The Navigators program challenges them to grow in competence, confidence, and Christian character.
- Meets with the Adventurers most Thursday evenings, all year
- A campout about every 8 weeks + a special summer adventure
- Trail Badges and ranks on the path to the Freedom Award
Adventurers
Young men pursue the Freedom Award — Trail Life's highest honor — mentor younger boys, plan high-adventure trips, and step into leadership that will shape them for life.
- Meets with the Navigators most Thursday evenings, all year
- Plans and leads campouts, service projects, and troop events
- Leadership positions and mentoring younger trailmen
Boys lead boys.
Trailmen are organized into small patrols led by older boys under adult mentorship. It's where leadership is learned by doing — planning, deciding, and looking out for one another.

Boys grow through seven program branches — Outdoor Skills, Life Skills, Heritage, Hobbies, Values, Science & Technology, and Sports & Fitness — earning the Forest Award in Woodlands, the Timberline Award at the bridge to Navigators, and ultimately the Freedom Award, Trail Life's highest honor.

The uniform marks a trailman as part of something bigger than himself. New families get help sizing and ordering everything they need.
